BRADFORD – Russell Raymond Blaisdell, 60, of Bradford passed away on Wednesday, November 29 at the Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill with his loving family by his side.
Russell was born in Haverhill on September 29, 1963 to George G. and Antoinette L. (Britten) Blaisdell. He was raised and educated in Haverhill, attending Haverhill public schools. He worked as as cook at local pizza shops and restaurants and also as a yard foreman for Danvers Concrete and Block. Russell enjoyed music, cooking food and family gatherings; liked feeding the birds and squirrels, and loved animals, especially his dog Buddy Ray. He was an avid WWE wrestling fan, had a great sense of humor and could be found every day at the “Methuen Dunks”. Russell will be fondly remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Russell is survived by his partner Lillian Stewart, his daughter Brandi J. Blaisdell, of Bradford, step-daughters Kerry Brewster, of Lynn and Kim Mahmoud, of Fall River. He also leaves behind Lillian’s children Philip Gray and his wife Shauna and their children Zack, Ashlyn, Connor and Jackson, Tanya Dow and her husband Mac of Asheville, of NC and Lee Stewart and his daughters Jaylee and Miranda, of Bradford; his brothers Ramiro and his wife Kathi Blaisdell, of Haverhill, and Michael Blaisdell, of Haverhill; sisters Elizabeth Perez, of Haverhill, Donna and her husband Papo Rivera, of Bradford, Darlene and her husband Franky Maisonet, of Haverhill, and Anna Serpa, of Haverhill. Russell will be missed by his grandchildren Chyla Blaisdell, Dante Blaisdell, Shaniah Brewster, and soon to be great granddaughter Avalynn, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife Ruth I. (Ramsdell) Blaisdell and his brother George G. Race.
