HAVERHILL – Sandra J. (Sannella) Gilmartin, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8 at Hannah Duston Healthcare Center in Haverhill.
Sandra was born and raised in Haverhill, the daughter of Arthur and Constance (Procopio) Sannella. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1965. Sandra enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting and was known for her dry, sharp sense of humor. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted homemaker, wife and mother. She is survived by her sons Reinhold M. Asang of Haverhill and John J. Asang and his wife Heather of Manchester, NH. She also leaves behind her brother Arthur Sannella and his wife Janet of Londonderry, NH, and her sister Patricia Sannella of Clermont, FL. Further survivors include her nieces and nephews: Michele (Garabedian) Stork, Stacey (Sannella) Nicholas, Bradford Pickersgill, and Samantha (Sannella) D’Ascensao. She was predeceased by her husband of 21 years John Gilmartin.
