HAVERHILL, MA – Shianne Slysz-McGilvray, 32, passed away on Monday, March 20 at her home in Haverhill, MA.
Shianne was born on March 17, 1991 in Gloucester, MA to Elizabeth (Slysz) Legette and the late Ronald McGilvray III. Shianne’s love was her cat Ruby, who was her emotional support animal, and also her dear friend Steven. She was a very talented person who loved writing, drawing, was an avid reader and an advocate for mental health and suicide prevention. Some of her favorite movies were Beauty and the Beast, The Breakfast Club, Land Before Time; and she was especially fond of cats and wolves. Shianne absolutely loved her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother Elizabeth (Slysz) Legette, Robbinsville, NC, her paternal grandmother Louise M (Augustonovich) Ross, her aunt Corinne M. Mayo and her partner Darryl J. Walker, aunt Billie-Jo S. Brown and her husband D.A. Brown, and uncle Richard A. Ross. Shianne also leaves behind many cousins James D. Mayo Jr., Zachary R. Mayo, Angela M. Mayo, Dylan J. Walker, Caitlin A. Ross, Joseph R. Lewis, Tristan J. Lewis, Madison M. Lewis and Angela C. Lewis and many friends.
Shianne was predeceased by her father Ronald McGilvray III, Haverhill, MA, in December of last year.
