Maureen, Paul and I are very sorry for your loss. Tom was such a gentleman and a great, great guy. He touched everyone he met. He was world class and someone young men should aspire to be. We really appreciate you guys being a part and continuing to be a part of our lives. Maureen and I were just talking about our fishing trip back in May 2019 with Tom and my Dad. We had such and awesome time fishing. I believe Tom caught the first fish of the day! May he continue to catch fish in Heaven! We will pray for him everyday.
Love,
Maureen, Dave, and Little Paul

May 14, 2020 at 3:00 pmYears ago, I ran an independent insurance agency in New Hampshire. I remember, when Tom first made a call on the agency, he had to turn his shoulders and duck his head to get through my office door. He was a big man in every way.

May 14, 2020 at 11:07 pmSue and Amy,
My heart is broken for you both. I am so sorry that Tom is no longer physically here with us. He was one of the most standup men I know, so loyal, kind and generous and one of the last few gentleman on this earth.
Who knew after he took me under his wing at Central 16 years ago, that we would all become family.
I cherish each moment I spent with him, you and Amy and we will continue to make more beautiful memories together.
I miss my Lithuanian buddy so much.
We are here for you and Amy.
Many prayers for Tom up in heaven and for you and Amy here.
Much love,
Katie (Stasaitis), Jerry and Jeremiah Lucey

May 15, 2020 at 5:13 pmSue, I so enjoyed lunches with Tom. He was always fun to be with. A big man with a big heart. Lunches were only second to seeing you and he at dinner and spending time, with the two of you. At times like this I remember the quote, “Don’t cry for I Am gone, but smile and be happy, for I was here. God Bless

May 17, 2020 at 10:53 amFor our friends unable to be with us on the hill yesterday at St. Patrick’s, this was the eulogy I gave:
We are incredibly grateful for you to share this with us today. In these extraordinary times preparing was an impossibility. But for this brief time, here on this hill, we’re thinking about my dad… & my mum. Thinking about times & stories we could ONLY share closer than six feet.
I admire your resiliency, my dearest friends, to join us on this hill and say goodbye to Tom. We, the Servants & Healers, will always rise above to answer those calls not everyone can hear.
May you share in all the beauty there is in heartbreak. Gain strength from those beside you & give it freely to others.
My father loved to fish & he & my mum owned boats for over 30 years… if you were lucky, said my dearest friend to me this morning, if you were lucky you fished with Tom.
Tom’s passing reminds us to continue to fish. If they aren’t biting, have patience, but be ready to move the boat. Fishing can be about the food you later grill at home for your family with a sunburned neck. Fishing can be about the beautiful ritual of starting an engine & moving about the world different from the rest, on your own path & your own time. Fishing can be a series of comedic events ending in bloodied hooks & embellished details, nicknames earned & understood ONLY by those there st the time. Fishing can be the quiet nothing of the wait on the flat open sea where clearly God is with you.
We will miss fishing with Tom.
