TIVERTON, RI – Vincent E. “Enzo” Riggio, 72, passed away on February 12 at his home in Tiverton, RI.
Vincent “Enzo” Riggio was born in Locri, Reggio Calabria-Italy on a Wednesday January 1st, 1952. He was 1 of 8 children born to the late Salvatore Riggio & Emilia “Marzano” Riggio. He migrated to Springfield, Ma in 1966 with his family. He was married to Francesca “Ursino” Riggio November 25th, 1973. Vincent was a traveling jeweler almost his whole life exploring the world and selling high-end jewelry while raising four children of his own. He is a loved father, brother, and grandfather 4 children, 7 brothers and sisters, and 7 grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Francesca Ursino Riggio, son Mark Riggio, daughter Vanessa Cassell, and husband James son John-Paul Riggio, and wife Jamie his son Jason Riggio and his life partner Jack Abbott; grandchildren Joseph Riggio, Valentina Riggio, Melody Hope Riggio, Gianni Riggio, Elijah Riggio, and James Cassell. He is also survived by his siblings Pietro Riggio, Antonio Riggio, Ines Riggio, Marissa Russo and Grace Prestera. He was predeceased by baby Jamison John Riggio, Rosetta Rondeau and Franca Russo.
He will be forever missed and loved by many. May God guide his way to Heaven and may his family find peace on Earth. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the SIDS Foundation.
