Haverhill – Patricia E. (Lawrence) Gilmartin, 90, wife of the late Raymond P. Gilmartin, passed away at Hannah Duston Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family.Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late George W. Dorothy H. (Newman) Lawrence. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1943. She was an Avon Representative for many years as well as the District Manager of Essex County. She was employed as a secretary in the Guidance Office at Georgetown High School. Patricia was a volunteer for Northern Essex Elder Transport and served on the Board of Directors for 25 years, retiring in 2013. She also volunteered at the Haverhill Public Library in Special Collections. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.She is survived by her loving children, Felicia A. Antonopoulos and her husband Charles of Haverhill and Peter R. Gilmartin and his wife Barbara of Edgewater, FL a sister, Virginia Haynes and her husband Robert “Red” of E. Kingston, NH her grandchildren, Michelle Losh, Brian and Kristen Losh, Raymond and Erin Antonopoulos, Daniel Antonopoulos and Somer Krantz three great grandchildren, Charlie and Macy Antonopoulos and Daniel Antonopoulos. In addition to her husband Raymond, she was predeceased by her son John Gilmartin in 2008.Funeral services will be private.
