Haverhill – Paul A. David, Sr., 86, husband of the late M. Elsie (Dandurant) David passed away on April 21, 2016 at Merrimack Valley Hospice surrounded by his loving family.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Adolphus A. and Delvina H. (Gaucher) David. He was raised and educated in Haverhill and was a graduate of Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1947. He was employed for many years as a foreman and supervisor in the city’s shoe industry. Paul was a fisherman and a big sports fan especially the Boston Red Sox. He was an avid reader and enjoyed painting. He enjoyed going out dancing with his late wife of fifty five years. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and especially loved spending time with his family. Paul is survived by his children Paul A. David Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Haverhill Paula J. Seymour and her husband Joseph of North Andover four grandchildren, Courtney J. Seymour, Emily Seymour, Lauren David and Lilah David. He is predeceased by his siblings Cecile David, Alfred David, Victor David and Edmund David. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B.
