Plaistow, NH – Paul S. Evans, 62 passed away on Sunday, April 17 at the Oxford in Haverhill surrounded by his loving family.Born in Needham, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Norma E. “Nancy” (Porter) Evans. Raised and educated in Woburn he was a graduate of Woburn High School, Class of 1971. He was employed at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a civil engineer working on many submarines. Prior to working at the shipyard he was employed as a surveyor in the North Shore area. Paul was a member of the Plaistow Fish and Game Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors. He most enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Paul had a special bond with his grandson Sean. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Paul is survived by his daughter, Amy Bowler and her husband Michael of Haverhill a sister, Laurel A. Neergaard and her husband John of Woburn a brother, Robert C. Evans and his wife Barbara of Saucier, MS three grandchildren, Sean M. Bowler, Abigail E. Bowler and Kelsey G. Bowler and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Lisa Evans and his granddaughter Madylin G. Bowler. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, April 20 from 10:00A.M. until 12:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Funeral service will follow at 12:00PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, No. Broadway, Haverhill.
