Pauline A. (Marquis) Cook, 87, of Lyman, Maine, formerly of Bradford, died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy illness.Born in Newton, N.H., she was educated in Newton Public Schools.She was employed as a technician at Western Electric in North Andover for over 26 years, retiring in 1982. After retiring she and her husband, William moved to Lyman, Maine, where she enjoyed the surrounding of the rural countryside. She loved solving puzzles, and painting and her animals.She leaves her beloved husband of 68 years, William L. Cook of Lyman, Maine a son, William J. Cook and his wife Sherrie of Bradford two daughters, Elzina L. Morse and her husband Richard, also of Lyman, and Suzanne Beier and her husband David of North Port, Fla. eight grandchildren, Christina Lynch, Eric and William Beier, Tracy and Amy Cook, Melissa Martin, and Michelle and Richard Scott Morse and two great-grandchildren.ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday at 4 p.m., at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Route 125) Haverhill. Calling hours will precede the services from 2 until 4 p.m. Burial is private.
