Haverhill – Priscilla J. (Richard) Prescott, 91, wife of the late Carl W. Prescott, passed away November 4, 2018 at High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill with her loving family by her side. Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Florian and Anna (Quintal) Richard. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she attended St. Joseph’s School, graduating in 1941 and was a graduate of St. James High School, Class of 1945. In 1954 she married her husband Carl and started their family. Priscilla was employed at Marble Motors in Haverhill as a bookkeeper and worked at All Saints Church in Haverhill for over 25 years as bookkeeper. She was active in St. Joseph’s and All Saints parish communities and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne of All Saints Parish. Priscilla enjoyed watching her grandkids, doing puzzles, and watching football, especially the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. She enjoyed spending her summers with family in their Hampton Beach house and later on in their home in the White Mountains of NH. Every year her family looked forward to her Thanksgiving stuffing and refrigerator cake. A devoted wife, mother and Mémère, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Priscilla is survived by her children, Debra Perkins and her husband Danny of Kingston, NH Peter Prescott of Ft. Kent, ME her sister, Claire Scanlon and her husband Joseph of Venice, FL six beloved grandchildren, Jared and Deborah Perkins, Rebecca Perkins, Connor and Katrina Prescott and Alison, Harrison and Katherine Prescott her great granddaughter, Evelyn Rose Prescott in-laws Donald and Suzanne Prescott and Joanne Prescott and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Carl, who passed in 2005, she was predeceased by her sister, Lorraine St. Pierre and brother Norman Richard.Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 9 from 9:30AM until 11:00AM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30AM at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hilldale Avenue, Haverhill.
