Raymond Louis Turcotte, 42, of Haverhill, formerly of Lowell, Tewksbury, and Billerica, died, Tuesday, September 18 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston after being stricken ill suddenly at home.Born in Lowell, he was the son of Peter A. and the late Claire R. (Cooke) Turcotte. He attended Lowell Public Schools and Lowell High School. Employed in the construction trades, his specialty was floor tiling.Mr. Turcotte was known for his outgoing personality. He loved the mountains, horseback riding, snowmobiling and fishing. He was a great cook and enjoyed relaxing to a good book.He leaves his beloved wife of twelve years, Susan N. (Terrio) Turcotte, of Haverhill, her children of whom he loved as his own, Robert Berard and his fiancé, Alexis Malvers, of Sarasota, FL, and Erin Berard and her partner, Charles J. “Chaz” Hill Jr, of Haverhill, his father Peter A. Turcotte, of Tewksbury, brothers, William Turcotte, and his wife Myriam, of Lowell, Peter Turcotte, of Ayer, Michael Turcotte, of Lowell, and Daniel Turcotte, and his fiancé Donna Luz, of Lowell, sisters, Claire Wiitala, and her husband, James,of Dracut, and Marie Wright, and her husband, Scott, of Lowell, three cherished grandchildren, C.J., Emma, and Bobby, father in law, Dennis Snow, of Lawrence, and several nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his brother Paul Turcotte.Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend a memorial gathering on Sunday from 5 until 8 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. A memorial service will be held immediately following the period of visitation in the Funeral Home at 8PM. Burial is private.
