Haverhill – Robert L. Barnard, 58, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away peacefully at his residence with his family by his side after a short illness. Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late, Donald and Caroline (Warner) Barnard. He attended Haverhill public schools and Haverhill Trade School. Mr. Barnard was employed as a Foreman at the Merrimac Spool and Reel Company, Inc. in Haverhill for over thirty-two years. Robert enjoyed fishing, bowling and watching action movies. He was an avid fan of pro wrestling. Most of all he cherished his time spent with his family. Family time meant everything to him. He leaves his girlfriend with whom he lived, Cressa L. Teal, his two loving daughters, Joeyel M. Barnard and Melissa L. Talbot, both of Haverhill, their mother, Deborah L. Cary, a brother, Donald Barnard, five sisters, Helen taylor, Winifred Hartford, Donna Parker, Linda Leonard, Lillian Stewart, and Betty Myers, all of Haverhill. He also leaves two grandchildren, Brianna N. Barnard-Larson, and Paul M. Talbot Jr., four step grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by siblings, Theodore Barnard, Marie LaFountain, and Jane Hammer. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Wednesday, July 1, at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will then follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial is private.
