Rowena Kenney

Rowena “Rena” (Williams) Kenney, 54 of Methuen MA, died at 5:45 PM, Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA. She was born July 24, 1962 in Lowell, MA. Rena was and educated in Lawrence, MA. She was a devoted mother for her three children.Rena will be sadly missed and is survived by her mother Marjorie A. Torrissi of Londonderry, her son Leonard L. Kenney of Methuen, her daughter Elizabeth A. Kenney of Dracut, and eight grandchildren, Alijah, Jaidah, Rosario, Jacob, Kaira, Dakota, Aalyza, and Justice. Her two brothers Eddie Williams and wife Linda of Londonderry, and Ray Torrissi and his wife Judy of Lawrence. Her sister Debbie Wells of Nashua and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.Rena’s step-father Rosario aka “big Ray” Torrissi, brother Walter Williams, and her beloved son Michael R. Kenney preceded her in death.Devoted mother and nana, spending quality time with her children and grandchildren gave her so much joy. She was a woman of deep faith. She also enjoyed watching television while sipping on her favorite coffee from Heavenly Donuts.The visitation is from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home located at 486 Main Street Haverhill, MA. Friends and family are respectfully invited for the mercy meal which will follow at 4:00 PM at the Reliefs Inn located at 1 Market Street Lawrence, MA.
