Ruth Sullivan

Ruth M. (Smith) Sullivan, 69, of East Boston, died Sunday, April 22, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late, George E. and Ruth (St. Elmo) Smith. Educated in Boston, she was a Graduate of East Boston High School, class of 1960.A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Ruth leaves her beloved husband, James F. Sullivan, of East Boston, four loving daughters, Debra Larkin, of Derry, NH, Danielle Internicola, of Saugus, Jaymie Ellard, of Everett, and Jill Sullivan, of East Boston, ten cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Jaymes, and Samantha Larkin, Rosaria, Lorenzo, Daniel, Ruth, and Matthew Internicola, James Sullivan, and Alexandria Sullivan-Ellard, three brothers, Gary Smith, of Concord, NH, Thomas Smith, of Sandown, NH, Kevin Smith, of Portsmouth, NH, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, George E. Smith Jr, and Karen A. Smith.A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 3, at 10:00 AM in St. Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley St. East Boston. Burial is private. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN, 38105-1942.
