Haverhill, MA – Sean Andrew O’Neil, 40, of Haverhill, formerly of Exeter, NH died August 10, 2012 after being stricken ill suddenly at his home.Born in Methuen, he was the son of Daniel M. O’Neil and Rosemary L. (Cassidy). Raised in Exeter, he was a Graduate of Exeter High School Class of 1990.Sean was employed at the Alden Merrill Cheesecake factory in Newburyport, and later the Boston Coffee Cake Company in Haverhill.A history buff he enjoyed trips to Boston to visit “Old Ironsides”, and Williamsburg. He loved animals, especially his cat, Angel, and volunteered at the MSPCA in Methuen. Most mornings he could be found having coffee at the Wicked Big Café in downtown Haverhill.He leaves his beloved parents, Daniel M O’Neil of Haverhill, and Rosemary L. (Cassidy) of Plum Island, a sister Shannon O’Neil-Spiliotis and her husband James of Bedford, NH, cherished nephew, Peter Spiliotis, and aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom will miss him dearly.Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend Sean’s Memorial Service on Wednesday, August 15, at 10:00 am in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Maple St. Middleton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MSPCA at Nevin’s Farm, 400 Broadway Methuen, MA 01844.
