Haverhill – Shaun E. Ruth, 42, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 1, 2017.Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Mary T. (FitzGerald) Ruth and the late Brian E. Ruth, who passed away in June of this year. Shaun attended Haverhill public schools and was a graduate of Whittier Tech specializing in masonry, Class of 1993. He also attended North Shore Community College and Northern Essex Community College. He was employed by ARC of Greater Haverhill and Newburyport. Shaun was a Certified Recreational Therapist and a licensed EMT. An avid skier, he worked at Ski Haus. Shaun loved the beach and was a lifeguard at Hampton Beach. He was a good friend to many and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his loving mother, Shaun is survived by his niece, Margaret “Maggie” Kloster his nephew, Brady G. Kloster two aunts, uncles and several cousins and many beloved friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Tracey M. (Ruth) Kloster. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, October 6 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will begin at 8:00AM on Saturday at the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00AM at St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial will be private.
