Hampstead, NH – Shirley (Picco) Dorman, 71, wife of the late James M. Dorman, passed away August 10 at her home.Born in Bell Island, Newfoundland, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Leander and Anastasia (Costello) Picco. Raised and educated in Canada, she moved to Methuen in 1964 and raised her family there. She moved to Hampstead, NH with her husband 10 years ago. Shirley was known for her great sense of humor and her gift of storytelling. She loved all kinds of music and loved to dance. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, all of whom loved “Nana’s” homemade French fries. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving her are her three children, Eric Dorman of Hampstead, NH Shawn Dorman of Windham, NH Lisa Dorman of Derry, NH her grandchildren, Ashleigh, Andrew, Zachary, Olivia, Jacob and Ethan her siblings, John Picco, Buck Picco, Kenney Picco, Robbie Picco, Margaret Peddle, Edna Schwaighofer, Daphne Sheppard, Eliza Picco, Catherine Bickford and Marion Clarke and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill.
