Tina Marie (Gagnon) Groves, 60

SOMERSWORTH, NH — Tina Marie (Gagnon) Groves, 60, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

Tina was born in Rochester, NH on August 19, 1962 to David S. Gagnon and Lilian (Carter) White.  She was a graduate of Pentucket High School, Class of 1980 and worked for many years as a nurse’s aide at both the Hannah Duston and Baker-Katz Nursing Homes.  Tina always enjoyed a good time, riding motorcycles, cooking for her family, and spending time at family gatherings.  She will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother by those she leaves behind.

Tina is survived by her sons William Phillips and his partner Jessica Venturo, of Salem, NH, and Tyler Cowles, of Newton, NH.  She also leaves behind brothers Simeon and his wife Sue Gagnon, of Epping, NH, Michael and his wife Tracy Fetters, of Amesbury, MA, Richard and Sue Fetters of Rochester, NH, Huey and his wife Heidi White, of Merrimac, MA, Greg and his wife Kara Gagnon, of Riverview, MI, and and sisters Clara Carnes, of Seabrook, NH and Jeanette and her husband Donald Durgin, of Haverhill, MA.  Tina is also survived by her grandchildren Mason, Brody, Gemma, and Cole, many nieces and nephews, and Alan and Cybelle Mandigo, of Somersworth, NH who will all miss her deeply.  Tina was predeceased by her son Steven Groves, and her sister Patricia Rollins.

    Gonna miss our trips to Walmart and Market Basket. You calling me lady, or Claudette Mariiiia. Seeing you share the seat with Weasel. Papa’s gonna miss you coming over and visiting him, making him a boiled dinner. Thanks for being a great Aunt/friend to me. I love you so much ??
