Tomas “Quino” Rosario, 91, of Haverhill, formerly of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 at the Lawrence General after a brief illness.Born and educated in Santo Domingo, he was born Sept. 18, 1920, son of the late Cornelio Rosario and Juana Francisca Hernandez. He immigrated to the United States in 1984 settling in Haverhill, and was employed as a machine operator for the DYTEX Corp.An avid baseball fan, he loved the Boston Red Sox.He leaves his beloved wife of 65 years, Nicolasina (Vargas) Rosario of Haverhill eight children, Zoila Rosario and her husband Jose, Maria Matias and her husband Ismael, Miguel Rosario and his wife Polania, Pedro Rosario and his wife Christine, all of Haverhill, Tomas Rosario and his wife Altagracia, Felix Rosario and his wife Maria, Jose Rosario and his wife Quenida, and Rafael Rosario and his wife Aracelis, all of the Dominican Republic 24 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Kevin B.
