Groveland – Wayne B. Subatch, 55, of Groveland, died Monday, October at the Beth Israel New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Lawrence, he was the son of John and Alma (Harrison) Subatch. Educated in Groveland, he attended Pentucket Regional High School. A carpenter by trade, Wayne was employed by various contractors throughout the Merrimack Valley. Wayne loved riding his Harley when not riding he tended to his vegetable garden at his broken pitchfork farm. He was also an avid NASCAR racing fan.He leaves his daughter, Samantha L. Subatch, his companion of fifteen years, Bridget A. Coady, and step daughter, Rebecca Crebase, all of Plaistow, two brothers, Richard Subatch and his partner, Christina Marchese, of Methuen, Kenneth Subatch, of Amesbury, a sister, Patricia Alton, of Stuart, FL, sister in law, Linda Subatch, of MT, nieces, Rudianne Subatch and Jessica Alton, and nephews, Jason and Matthew Subatch. He was predeceased by his brother, John Subatch Jr. Friends and family are respectfully invited to call on Friday from 4 until 7 PM at the Kevin B.
