William Gingrass Sr.

Haverhill – William J. Gingrass, Sr., 25, passed away on Saturday June 11 at his home in Haverhill.Born in Exeter, NH he was the son of Rodney H. and Kathleen (Hayes) Gingrass of Haverhill. After high school he enlisted in the United States Army serving his country over 3 years as a Specialist in Afghanistan. He was Medically Retired from the Army in Kentucky and eventually moved back to Haverhill. William loved being a soldier and served his country well. He enjoyed fishing and canoeing with his father and recently took up the game of golf. He loved old cars especially the muscle cars. He enjoyed time spent at the local beaches and was a devoted father to his three boys. He was close to his mother and all his family and friends. Surviving him in addition to his loving parents are his three sons Christopher D. Gingrass, Alexander D. Gingrass and William J. Gingrass Jr. all of Haverhill his wife, Chellsya (Gish) Gingrass of Hopkinsville, KY a brother Nicholas Gingrass of Hopkinsville, KY an uncle, Patrick J. Hayes of Woodbridge, VA and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Monday, June20 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
