HAVERHILL – Dianne Young, 71 of Haverhill passed away on August 3, 2026 at Merrimack Health Methuen Hospital.
Dianne was born in Haverhill on December 8, 1954 to Arthur and Rose (Comeau) Young and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, after which she studied at Northern Essex Community College. She then went on to work at many places throughout her career including JM Fields, Friendlies, Timmy Meehan’s, Home Depot, AT&T, Opportunity Works and most recently All Saints Church. She was the chaplain and historian for the Ladies Auxiliary, and also the historian and secretary for the American Legion Riders Post 4, and was involved in the Catholic Prison Ministry, Charismatic Healing Ministry, St. Basil’s Cursillo Community, and also volunteered for the Steubenville Life Team..
Dianne is survived by her son Christopher Currier and his wife Candice of Grant Pass, OR, and her daughter Rose Currier of Epsom, NH, her cherished grandchildren Cheyenne, Christopher and Savannah Currier, and Meghan and Jacob Jegorow, and step-granddaughter Sarah Auld of Battleground, Washington. She was predeceased by her brothers Wayne Young and Joseph Young.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday August 13th from 10:30AM until 12:30PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main Street, Haverhill. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1PM at All Saints Church. Burial to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday August 14thbeginning at 4PM at the Wilbur Comeau Post 4, American Legion Post in Haverhill.
