Donna M. (White) McClanahan, 81, of Haverhill passed away on May 15, 2026 at High Pointe Hospice House.
Donna was born on December 13, 1944 to John P. and Lorraine (St. Pierre) White and was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1962. She worked as a CNA for Baker-Katz Nursing home for many years; and when she wasn’t working Donna was all about her family, scratch tickets, Salisbury Beach, and road trips along the Mohawk Trail and western Massachusetts. Donna was a great cook and liked having fish fries and cookouts with her family. She had a huge heart, was loving, kind and beautiful, and when she talked kids listened – she gave good advice (sometimes not so soft) to all she loved. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt.
Donna is survived by her children Gina M. Musa and her husband Musa I Musa of Merrimac, Amber L. Guckert of Haverhill, Joleen D. Labour and her husband Jacinto of Haverhill, Lisa A. McClanahan and her husband Joseph Coombes of Salem , NH, Lloyd C. McClanahan of Haverhill, and Jenene A. Sullivan and her husband Charles Sullivan, Jr. of Haverhill. She also leaves behind her siblings Jack White and his wife Laura of Haverhill, Cheryl McNulty and her husband Kenneth of Atkinson, NH, David White and his wife Denise of Freemont, and Lynne Sargent of Haverhill; thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lloyd C. McClanahan.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 22nd from 10AM until 12PM, followed by a funeral home chapel service at 12PM at the Kevin B. Words can’t even describe the feelings right now knowing the angels have decided to come for you and bring you home. It hurts so much knowing it but I know you are with Lloyd now and you both are together and at peace. Until we meet again
