Gary Beauregard, 86

Gary Beauregard, 86, of Amesbury, formerly of Haverhill, passed away on October 19, 2026 at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport surrounded by his loving family.

Gary was born in Haverhill on October 28, 1939 to Paul A. and Caroline I. (Knight) Beauregard and was a graduate of the Haverhill Trade School, Class of 1957. During high school he began working for Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent. He met his wife Bina in 1959 at the CHI RHO, a youth group at St. Josephs Church in Haverhill. During his time at Western Electric/AT&T he went into the US Army reserves. After his service Gary went back to work there as a supervisor from 1970 until his retirement in 1993, with 36 years of service.

Gary was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather with a strong work ethic who also worked in the local funeral business for over 15 years. He was a Red Sox fan, going to a game every year with his son and his wife, a Patriots fan, and enjoyed bowling at St. Joseph’s Lanes. He was the commissioner of the St. Joseph’s Golf League for many years, and enjoyed traveling extensively. Above all, family was Gary’s greatest joy. He cherished the many parties, celebrations and get togethers that brought everyone together. He believed that spending time together was the key to keeping a family close, and he took great happiness in those shared moments. His love for his family and the traditions they created together will remain a lasting part of his legacy.

Gary is survived by his wife of 65 years Albina (Lavoie) Beauregard of Amesbury, his sons James M. Beauregard and his wife Leslie of Amesbury, Kenneth D. Beauregard and his wife Lauri of Haverhill, Gary R. Beauregard, Jr. and his wife Kelly of Cold Brook, NY, and his daughter Susan M. Kinser and her husband Brian of Haverhill. He also leaves behind his brother Richard Beauregard of Haverhill, and his sister Diane Champagne of Atkinson, NH, as well as 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
