Helen R. (Dusombre) St. Cyr, 83, passed away on June 24, 2026 at the Lakeview House Nursing home in Haverhill.
Helen was born in Boston on February 20, 1943 to Omer and Marguerite (Belanger) Dusombre. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1961 and went on to work as an inspector at Raytheon Corporation. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was all about family, enjoying holiday gatherings, gambling at casinos all over with her siblings, family cookouts, camping and playing card games. She had an open door policy and was involved with teaching her grandkids, toilet training, bike riding and how to drive for their licenses. Helen is survived by her daughter Lynda Hartford of Haverhill, son Arthur St. Cyr, Jr. of Haverhill, daughter Karen Cloutier and her husband Clifford of Auburn, NH, daughter Paula LaGrasse and her husband David of Salem, NH, and son Joseph St. Cyr and his wife Patricia of Salem, NH. She also leaves behind her siblings Janet Langlois and her husband Emile of Haverhill, Robert Dusombre and his wife Linda of Haverhill, Gilbert Dusombre and his wife Kathleen of Haverhill, and Sherrie Dusombre of Porstsmouth, NH; and her grandchildren: Amy Plaza and her husband Manny, Justin Hartford and his wife Catie, Jason Hartford, Adam St. Cyr and his wife Genevieve, Alyssa Yaratz and her husband Josh, Aaron St. Cyr, Nathan Cloutier, Brandon LaGrasse and his wife Megan, Bradley LaGrasse and his wife Kate, Sarah LaGrasse, Cameron St. Cyr, Curtis St. Cyr, Caitlyn Hawkins and her husband Corey; and great grandchildren: Jacob and Lucas Waites, Jason Hartford, Jr., Alivia and Addison Yaratz, Madeline and Isabelle St. Cyr, Abel Paulino, and Atlas and Eevee LaGrasse.
She was predeceased by her husband Arthur R. St. Cyr, Sr., and her siblings Catherine Descoteaux, Marjorie Chadwick, Marilyn Daneau, Leonel Dusombre, John Dusombre, Frederick Dusombre, Richard Dusombre, and Sally Hardy.
