Othel J. Brammer, 89, of Merrimac passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026 at his home.
Othel was born in Pontiac, MI on May 10, 1937 to Roscoe and Mary Brammer. After graduating high school in Michigan, he went on to serve in the US Navy, and then worked for many years as a Machine Foreman in the chemical processing industry. He enjoyed eating out and traveling to many places, including Atlantic City, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Montana. Othel was the loving widower of Maryrose (Montisanti) Brammer, who died in 2019, and will be remembered as a devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Othel is survived by his son James O. Brammer and his wife Shelly of Bradford, and his daughter Cindy A. Augustonovich of Merrimac. He also leaves behind grandchildren: Samantha West Bartlett, Nicole Falconi, Matthew Beauregard, Joseph Augustonovich, Kayla Augustonovich, Andrew Augustonovich and Courtney Pratt; and eight great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Maryrose (Montisanti) Brammer, daughter Darlene M. Beauregard, son Joseph Brammer, brother Fred Brammer, and sisters Bertha Osborne, Helen Wright, and Sharon Molley.
