Robyn (Barbone) Curry, formerly of Haverhill, Massachusetts, passed away on March 19, 2026, in Winter Park, Florida, at the age of 59. She was born on April 30, 1966, in Groveland, Massachusetts. Robyn was a proud Sachem at Pentucket Regional High School and went on to graduate from Salem State College.
Robyn is survived by her brother, Scott Barbone of Derry, New Hampshire; her nephews, Cameron Barbone of Watertown, New York, and Mason Barbone of Amityville, New York; along with close cousins, her Uncle Joe, lifelong friends, and new Florida friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert (Bob) J. Curry; her mother, Jean J. (Howard) Barbone; and her father, Arthur M. Barbone.
Robyn often said she was fortunate to have grown up in an idyllic setting in Groveland, Massachusetts. She enjoyed a wonderful upbringing with loving parents and her devoted older brother, Scott. Raised in a close-knit Italian family, Sundays were spent at her Nonni’s home surrounded by cousins, aunts, and uncles—filled with card games, croquet, target practice, and meaningful conversations. Her neighborhood was full of lifelong friends and endless opportunities for adventure, including canoeing on Johnson’s Pond, boat rides along the Merrimack River, motorcycle rides with her brother, and winter snowmobiling.
Robyn married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) J. Curry, in 1994, and together they shared over 31 wonderful years. Bob passed away in October 2023 after a courageous battle with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. Throughout his illness, Robyn did everything in her power to extend and enrich his life—enrolling him in clinical trials and relocating to Florida to ensure he received the best possible care. She gave of herself selflessly, standing by Bob with unwavering strength and devotion during even the most difficult moments of his decline. Together, they cherished summer weekends on Lake Winnipesaukee, attending concerts, cheering on the New England Patriots, enjoying beach days with friends, and gathering with family for meals and celebrations.
Robyn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Salem State College. She went on to build a distinguished career in accounting, holding roles such as corporate accountant, senior accountant, controller, and accounting manager. Known for her professionalism, dedication, and expertise, Robyn brought excellence to every position she held. She was driven, detail-oriented, and never content with the status quo—consistently seeking ways to improve processes and create more efficient systems.
Robyn touched many hearts wherever she went. She will be deeply missed, but her kindness, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, embraced by the eternal love of God.
